TERMS
A 10% buyer’s premium will be added to the winning bid to determine the final sale price, with a 6% KY Sales tax on applicable items unless a farm exempt or other tax-exempt number is provided for our records.
On personal property, cash, good check, or credit card payment for the full purchase amount is due on the day of auction. Possession of items given with payment in full. Any items not removed from the auction site within 14 days of auction date will be forfeited and no refund will be issued.
ONLINE BIDDING: Prebidding and simulcast bidding is available through equipmentfacts.com. Winning bids with invoice amounts of $999 and below will be invoiced to the winning bidder by email through Square and paid in full by credit card. On items $1,000 and above, a $1,000 non-refundable deposit will be invoiced by email through Square with the balance due upon item pickup by credit card or cashier’s check. Items must be picked up within 14 days of auction close or any claim to those items is relinquished. No shipping is offered by Hodges Auction Company.
